Hunger up in U.S. cities, more to come: mayors | Reuters

Hunger up in U.S. cities, more to come: mayors | Reuters: (Reuters) - "A survey of 29 cities shows hunger has risen in most of them in the last year and is largely expected to increase in 2012 as the United States faces a sluggish economy, the U.S. Conference of Mayors said on Thursday."

The US is more and more looking like a third world country, it has the main characteristics of an autocratic, military controlled government which protects the interests of an elite owning 95% of the national wealth and resources, and a military budget surpassing all others. These characteristics include: Hunger and malnutrition, high illiteracy rates, the death penalty and laws permitting the imprisonment of citizens without trial by the military.

All traits of a third world country increasingly dependent on intimidating and violent tactics to quiet the public.
