The cuts would be of about $200 billion/year leaving $600 billion untouched, and Gates is thinking more like $75 billion/year reduction.

Also, since the CIA is now ran by Petraeus -which is a conflict of interest being a General- and since the CIA can now bomb sovereign countries, the budget lines will be blurred between military and, CIA and Co'. budgets. And nothing was said about the CIA and Co. budgets. Maybe they plan to increase them?

Right now Obama wants to rally the center left; it is simply propaganda. And most importantly a way to hide that we can't dislodge Gadhafi and that we have already spent over a billion dollars on the Libyan illegal war; that the economy is about to collapse again: unemployment is growing,  the middle class is chocking and that it is likely that by the time people reach retirement age, if they do, they won't have any money left ...  and the list keeps going.
