Soldiers' suicide rate in the military

Main points:

-In both sexes the number of suicides increase when soldiers are deployed to the front in Iraq or Afghanistan; in females it jumps from 5 for 100,000 to 15 for 100,000 when deployed; and for men it jumps from 15 per 100,000 to 21 per 100,000. Asian soldiers have higher suicide rates than soldiers of other racial groups. Also, the suicide rates more than doubled in the army from 2004 and 2011.
