IAEA updates as of March 24

- unit 3  reactor vessel may be damaged and injecting water into the spent fuel pools,
- unit 4 still being doused with sea water
- unit 5 temperature rose on the 23rd, need to replace the pump

Also, CBS reports that the salt is becoming a problem due to a build up from evaporation of the water used to douse the reactors and spent fuel pools. 57,000 pounds of salt buitd up in unit 1 and 2 and 3 have collected 99,000 pounds each. The issue salt "could to heat up the reactors more, in the worst case, cause the uranium to melt releasing a range of radioactive material."

From a panel of physicists at MIT there was concern about corrosion of the steal reactor vessels.

Things are not yet in control, the damage has been extensive. The plume covers the entire US at this point and should be covering part of Europe.
