The engineers did not envision that the coast of Japan would move at least 8 feet eastward and a a foot or two under water: No cable or pipes can stretch to accommodate the move, that is true; but since Japan is located on faults, an earthquake zone and is likely to have tsunamis: GE engineers should not have accepted to build this nuclear power plant.
