Soldiers win $85m compensation from Iraq war contractor | World news | guardian.co.uk: "Kellogg Brown and Root, formerly part of Halliburton, exposed water plant guards to dangerous carcinogen, court finds"

"Like all hexavalent chromium compounds, sodium dichromate is considered hazardous. It is also a known carcinogen." Wikipedia

Event though the military knew soldiers would be exposed to sodium dichromate the big wigs, the ones who rarely are on the terrain, chose to ignore it and exposed their men and women. Diabolic (my comment)
