Monsanto - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Monsanto - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: "Monsanto Company (NYSE:MON) is an American multinational agricultural biotechnology corporation. It is a leading producer of the herbicide glyphosate, which it markets under the Roundup brand. Monsanto is also a leading producer of genetically engineered (GE) seed." (My selection)

Monsanto makes Glyphosate resistant corn which permits farmers to spray corn fields with Round Up (Glyphosate); why would people want to eat glyphosate?

Also, Monsanto produces corn with a BT gene which confers resistance to the Bore worm, in effect the corn produces pesticide. Why would people want to eat pesticides?
